Thank you so much for all of the suggestions on books to read last week. I couldn’t believe how many of my readers are bookworms too! I took the liberty of making a list of all the books you suggested.
The Touch Series by Laurie Faria Stolarz
Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah
Clockwork Angel (the Infernal Devices series) by Cassandra Clare
The Gone Series by Michael Grant
Tigers in Red Weather by Liza Klaussmann
Rules of Civility by Amor Towles
The Dublin Murder Squad Series by Tana French.
Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett
Matched by Allie Condie
I currently have Revenge Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger (sequal to Devil Wears Prada) and The New Girl by Tracie Puckett (teen fiction) in my iBook library. I am sure I will download some more this week since I read so fast!
Note: Over the weekend I finished Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn and The Viscount’s Daughter by Caitlyn Duffy. Gone Girl was pretty crazy – email me if you want to chat about it! The Viscount’s Daughter is the sequel to The Rockstar’s Daughter – they are both teen fiction and super quick mindless reads. I definitely recommend all three!
If anyone has a great book suggestion that they would like to add, please leave the books in the comment section!

I love that you’re also a bookworm like me 🙂
I loved Firefly Lane, Tigers in Red Weather and Rules of Civility. Pillars is my next read, I’m psyched!
Did you like the ending of Gone Girl? I swear I’m one of like five people that wasn’t pissed off.
This is a great list! Firefly Lane is one of my very favorite books I’ve ever read. I’ve been wanting to read Gone Girl for quite some time but I didn’t realize the ending was controversial. Now I hesitate to read it because I hate books with sucky endings!
I just opened RUSH, by Maya Banks. I haven’t gotten into it just yet but I have a feeling it may be 50 Shades-ish. I was a huge fan of 50 Shades so I’m wondering where this end up going.
I have Revenge wears Prada and Gone Girl cued up next on my reading list!
I loved Gone Girl… I think. I still can’t really get over the end. Thank you for posting the list too, it gives me options. Are you on goodreads.com? That’s another good one for keeping track of books I want to read.
You should check out Summer Sisters by Judy Blume, I loved reading her books as a kid and was so exited to find this book by her for adults.
i was so pissed off at the end of gone girl. we really need to chat about it…
Love love LOVED Gone Girl…I just started Crooked Letter Crooked Letter by Tom Franklin….it’s GREAT so far!
wasn’t gone girl nuts? it’s like a lifetime movie – a little out there but an easy read and entertaining. i’m currently reading reconstructing amelia, which is supposed to be kinda like gone girl since the main character is trying to figure out what happened to her daughter. i looooooved 11/22/63 by stephen king – it’s pretty long but i just loved it. and i recently finished where’d you go bernadette, which was a quick and entertaining read. will have to check out some of your recommendations!

When I got to the end of Gone Girl I wanted to throw the book across the room, but couldn’t as it was on my kindle. I think it’s pretty clear that there will be a sequel… xx
I have The Rockstar’s Daughter on my Kindle. Yay for free books. The Gone Series by Michael Grant is pretty good. I’ve only read the first one but I really enjoyed it.
