one. baby Mary Janes.
Is anyone else obsessed with the new Freshly Picked Mary Janes? I REALLY want to buy Ailey a pair, but her feet are in an awkward size right now. She is wearing a size 1 moccasin comfortably on her left foot and her right foot has to be shoved into the shoe. Just another trait she inherited from her Momma.
two. the comedy of our dead Mr. TV.
The only comical part about your television dying just hours before your husband is going out of town for a family emergency is how hard it was for Annabelle to understand what it all meant. At first she cried that our TV died… thinking we would never be able to watch a show again. Then when we told her we were going to get a new TV…her confusion over it knowing how to play all of her favorites. She woke up this morning asking about the new TV like HE was a new friend coming for the weekend. Thank you Annabelle for the comic relief!
three. pink ballet flats.
Every year I like to buy a new pair of Tory Burch flats since I wear mine into the ground. The Minnie Travel Flats are my favorite style since they are SO comfortable and easy to pack when we go on trips. This spring I am eying their Retro Pink Minnie Travel Ballet Flats for my Mother’s Day present. I’ve never considered wearing pink shoes but I think I have more than enough outfits to match the flats. As an added bonus: pink is Annabelle’s FAVORITE color. Would you wear pink shoes?
four. Fixer Upper Kitchens.
Yah yah yah – I know I am late to the party, but Fixer Upper is now set to record on my DVR. I love watching how they transform these plain or dumpy rooms into gorgeous magical spaces. I have been pinning so many Before/After posts of kitchens since most homes these days don’t look like a Joanna Gaines creation unless you’re spending $$$$ on a new home. My dream is to have a bright spacious kitchen someday and I can’t get enough of the Fixer Upper transformations.
five. The Baby Cubby.
Have you heard of the glorious website: The Baby Cubby? I don’t know how I did not know about them when I was pregnant with Ailey, but if you’re expecting or planning for babies OR a Mom, you need to check them out. I’ll be posting all about the goodies they sent me to help with Ailey’s big transition to FOOD.
How could you not love a company whose motto is: WE BELIEVE MOMS ARE SUPER- HEROES, unsung & often unappreciated, Moms quietly create and mold the future of the world. – The Baby Cubby
