We have some kind of virus going around the house that I can’t seem to shake. Ailey has been miserably entertaining (see my IG stories) and Annabelle hasn’t been bit by the bug yet. Thankfully, it’s not the flu, so we are all just pushing through. Hooray for the weekend everyone! Here are my Friday favorites.
Happy Groundhog Day! Do you ever believe what the little stinker predicts? I sure don’t… I have seen so many people talking about January feeling like the longest month ever and don’t know why most people would complain. We are always asking for time to slow down instead of speed up, so if every month wants to take its sweet time like January, that’s fine with me.
Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas

Even though my husband and I don’t buy each other gifts for Valentine’s Day, I’m working on a more detailed Valentine’s Day gift guide for anyone who is interested. We always treat each other to a nice dinner – this year we are attending a Gala the weekend before and I think that will be like our Valentine’s Day night out.
Sleeping Habits of a Fournager
I have to say Annabelle’s sleeping habits are definitely a Friday favorite. She used to have horrible sleeping habits (like baby sister Ailey), but she now slumbers peacefully and hardcore like a college student. Ailey doesn’t share the love for sleep.
Purple Carrot.
I promise I have a full blog post coming with my love for Purple Carrot next week, but in the mean time let me just tell you – Purple Carrot is a Friday Favorite. The meal delivery service has DELICIOUS, easy to make, vegan recipes perfect for anyone who deserves a nice meal. Use the code – belle30 – for $30 off (or automatically applied through this link).
Target Dresses.
Last Sunday I stood outside Target waiting for it to open so I could pick up a dress to wear to a Blogger Brunch. The dress selection at Target is amazing right now – granted most of them are for Spring, I highly recommend you run there and pick up a few before they’re all gone. I want to buy another long sleeve maxi (like the one above), but my hesitation is that it does run large around the waist area.
I hope everyone has a fun Super Bowl weekend – we are laying low and watching the game at the house, but I’m hoping to make my favorite shredded chicken nachos and homemade salsa . Where are you watching the game and what are you eating? Have a fabulous weekend!
That dress is lovely on you! I love the term Fournager! LOL!
So sorry that the virus has gotten to you too! I feel like everyone has been sick this January! Hopefully your family will be healthy the rest of winter! Also, I love your target dress! I feel like target has been hitting it out of the park recently with all the cute stuff they have!
I’m sorry to hear your family has been sick. I hope you feel better soon. I spent most of January sick, and I’m still not totally over it, so I know how you feel.
