My purpose as a blogger has changed and evolved countless times since I wrote my first post in 2008. Since I am taking a webinar to become a better blogger/influencer, I’ve been inspired to answer these questions: Who are you as a blogger? What do you offer your audience?
Revealing My Purpose as A Blogger
Ten years into blogging, I am dedicated to bringing you content that evokes thought and inspires. When writing Confessions of a Northern Belle, my purpose is to create a place for women, moms, or even the college girl aspiring to become a Mom someday, to find advice on life, style, and all things related to my adventures in motherhood.
Blogging is a way of sharing yourself.
As a blogger, it’s my job to SHARE. I share my personal stories about struggles and successes as a Mom. I share my fashion staples, products I can’t live without, or anything I’ve purchased recently and love. Whether I’m writing tips to make life easier, or divulging a family recipe, or revealing my style secrets, I share everything with the hope I’m reaching someone.
Mommyhood, pregnancy, fashion, recipes, DIY, home decor, travel = LIFESTYLE. I define myself as a life and style Mommy blogger because that is what I love to write about. My hope is to build a community of readers as I share my motherhood story. Let it be known, sponsored posts are a necessary category on my blog because as an influencer, it’s my job to share brands with you that I use and love.
Moving to my home state of Connecticut has aided in the next stage of my career as a blogger. Not only am I able to share my love of New England with my readers through posts about travel, activities for families, and life in this beautiful area of the country, but I am also sharing another piece of me with you.
My promise to you, readers of Confessions of a Northern Belle, is I will always remain authentic, organic, and honest. My purpose as a blogger is to inspire and connect with you through genuine content. Thank you for reading. <3
